So long soccer

Marley had her last soccer game last Saturday.  She never did score a goal this season, but did lots of running. After her game she received her trophy. It was so cute, a little soccer bobble head.

Now that soccer is over she's signed up for dance class and starting in April she'll start t-ball.

Gotta love the little butt picking boy. lol

Valentine's Day

Time is flying by. I'm almost a month late on posting about our Valentine's Day.

Marley had a small party at school on the 13th (she only goes M,W,F) . She wrote her name on cards for all her classmates. The day before she wasn't feeling well, and she was actually falling asleep while filling out her cards before school.

The whole class sang a few songs for the parents.

This is how Marley spend her Valentine's day. Still not feeling good and fell asleep while eating lunch.

Luckily, she started feeling better the day after Valentine's. And both kids had some mail!

Cards from Grandma and Grandpa. I told Marley to hold up Mason's card for him, so she held it up in front of his face. She's a great sister!

Pizza Pie

This recipe is actually called Tebow Family Pizza Pie. I only know who Tim Tebow is because of everyone "tebowing" Otherwise I would be clueless to who he is. Oh well, his family makes some good food HA!

1 pound ground beef
1 envelope Italian-style spaghetti sauce mix
1 can (6 ounces) tomato paste
3/4 cup water
1 tube (12 ounces) refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
1/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese, divided
2 cups (8 ounces) shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Smoosh biscuit dough into bottom of greased baking dish.

Cover with 1/4 cup parmesan cheese.

Brown ground beef and drain. Mix in sauce mix, tomato paste and water.

Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 7-10 minutes or until thickened.

Place meat mix as the next layer in your baking dish. Cover with mozzarella cheese and remaining parmesan cheese. Bake at 400 for 15-18 minutes or until crust is brown and cheese is melted.

Enjoy!

Root Beer BBQ Crock pot Chicken

The only pop I drink is root beet or sierra mist, so when I saw this root beer bbq chicken recipe for the crock pot I knew I wanted to try it out.

Chicken Breasts
1 cup root beet
2 cups bbq sauce
pepper

Put chicken in crock pot.

Mix together root beet and bbq sauce.

Pour bbq root beer into crock pot, sprinkle pepper on top and cook on low for 4-6 hours.

Before serving shred chick and serve on burger buns.

I don't have an after picture, because I was really hungry and didn't take one. Oops!

Also, my sister made this about a week before me and she just cooked her chicken in the root beer, then once she shredded the chicken and put in on buns, she poured the bbq sauce on top.

Either way works and they both were pretty tasty!
